Patient Monitor

Our patient monitor (the VetSpecs-VSM5) allows us to monitor a patient’s:

· ECG (Electrocardiogram)

· Heart Rate

· Oscillometric Blood Pressure

· Arterial Oxygenation (via Pulse Oximetry)

· Respiration (Waveform and Rate)

· Core and Rectal Temperatures

 

In addition to sophisticated electronic monitoring, we also understand the importance of the human element.  A technician is assigned to monitor every patient that undergoes anesthesia.
